Minnesota, Wedding, Moving!
This has been a busy month!!!! We went home Friday, June 21st. We left here at about 6 pm and got to MN at 8 am their time. Spent a couple of days with the Bride to be and her family in Mantorville.... even went boating! It was much fun! Next we headed up to the cities... saw my Grandparents monday. Tuesday was the bachelor/bachelorette party at Steve & Barry's. We went to Mystic Lake's Seafood Buffet on Wednesday with ben, emily and the Dewey family. Thursday was the rehearsal and then the rehearsal dinner at the Mermaid! Painted Emily's nails with a purple french tip and then went home for the night! FRIDAY got up nice and early, packed the car with a bridal gown and my bridesmaid dress and left to pick the bride up from the Mermaid... brought her to the house where she got her hair did and got ready! Off to church we went!
Pictures went great! We decided not to go to downtown Mlps because it looked like it might storm.... so we had a lot of time to sit down and rest!
The wedding was awesome!!! Everyone made it down the aisle in time, Emily and Ben had time to spare even! We walked down the aisle to the Muse version of "Feeling Good". Margo (bridesmaid) sang "So Much Love" by The Rocket Summer during the unity chemicals and communion. We joyously walked back down the aisle to "I Feel Good".... who ever sings that! By then it was thunder storming out! It was awesome!
The reception was wonderful.... I think my speech went well. I wrote it down so I didn't forget anything. Messed up on ONE part, but no one knows but me 
For their first dance, they danced to "Out of my League" and then it faded into Thriller!!! 9 people danced to it. It was way cool!!!!!! June 25th was the 1 year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death. We stayed at the Mermaid that night--compliments of Grandma Ginny!!! Thank you Ginny!!!!!
After the wedding--had a gift opening day Saturday morning, then went back to my folks to get our dog and say goodbye! Went to Mantorville and hung out with more Tobiasons. Much fun. Disc Golf and a bon-fire. The next day we were going to go boating, but it was too windy. Headed back to CO at 5 pm, got here at 6am OUR time.
Came home to our old place to find a mess left by the maintenance guy. Not just a little mess..... mud/putty everywhere!!!!! If you've been in our place, imagine this: He repaired the ceiling by our garbage can in the kitchen and got mud/putty whatever all the way over on the computer desk! The counters were covered with crap! Even Adam's quilt had stuff on it! So lame! We called the property management manager up and told her to come look at it. Frustrating! Adam had cleaned everything very well before we left to go to MN now we've got to clean it again!
Anyway, we napped for 2.5 hrs and then headed over to our new place with some laundry and other things. Made one trip back home after that for some more laundry and more stuff. Adam got the surround sound wired (thanks to the help of his genius wife!). We also bought 2 rugs for the living/dining area... they look super nice. Figured out how we want to set our room up, and just kinda hung out for a while! OH Daisy fits through the TEENY TINY dog door! I can't believe it!!!!! It's so cool! We'll leave that open for her so she can go outside whenever she wants. She's kinda scared of it now cause there's neighbor dogs that bark at her... but once she gets used to it, it'll be so nice for her!
I gotta work at 4am tomorrow--probably working a double shift cause I heard it's a disaster!!!!!! Whoops! Tomorrow softball and then Wednesday we move completely! I can't wait to BE there. I can't wait to have everything unpacked. I'm excited. Pictures to come....
