Heck yeah Geico Commercials!!!!
So I got to thinking, Dang I really feel like I'm paying a lot for car insurance!!! So I did the whole 15 minutes could save you 15% or more on car insurance.... got my quote through Geico and it came back as 79.00/month for the exact same coverage we currently have (currently paying 141 with Progressive). I called them up because I read they are competitive with quotes. The lady I spoke to looked at my policy and I read off the Geico policy I had selected... she couldn't see how it could be so much cheaper! So she told me to do a re-quote with Progressive and if the quote comes back less than what I currently pay now I should give them a call back!
Low & behold... 80.35 for my exact same coverage!!!! Amazing. I called them back, got the policy changed to this new rate, got refunded 45 bucks that I just paid extra 2 days ago! Our insurance credit must have gone up, and Adam is turning 25 in less than 30 days, so that went into effect too. Im so very happy!!! For 30 bucks, I could have a GPS installed near my steering column and actually get a discount for good driving habbits! I opted out of that one for now, but thought it was pretty cool. The bummer part is, if you're a bad driver, your rate could increase up to 9%! Ha! Thankfully we're both great drivers, if we ever do decide to do that.
I love the great state I live in. They lowered their rates overall.... my xterra is valued just SLIGHTLY under what I owe on it (which is odd because, let's face it, they're not exactly hard to find here!). We have new lisence plates available... I believe I'm going to buy them. They're only 50 bucks extra. 
Cool huh? Colorado has SOOOO many different plates, it's ridiculous! I really like this one though. They said it's the first time a snowboarder and skier have been on the same government image in the state of Colorado! Way cool!
Adam is working today! He's in Denver. I just read on his facebook he was looking forward to the drive out there. Interesting, I've never known him to look forward to going to Denver. I think he's really happy to be working! He hasn't worked since January 18th. Worked just a couple of times that week, and before that, the last time he worked was before Christmas! He's super okay with that though. I am too, as long as I get my back tickled! 
He'll be leaving in 16 days for another 3 week trip! Lucky duck!! (P.S. Mindgoogle is down, anyone know the origin of "lucky duck"? I can't seem to find it on Google either).

Hotronics & Helmets
We went to Breck yesterday............. brrrrrrrr. It was actually pretty warm when we left s-thorne, so I left my hotronics batteries at home. BAD idea. Adam tried to get me to bring my batteries with but I said I would be fine. Ohhh I was wrong. Eventually my feet got so cold they went numb. I haven't felt that in a long time because I've had them everyday for a year or so. If your feet get cold, I would highly suggest buying hotronics...
www.hotronic.com BEST THING EVER. They're kind of expensive, but worth every single penny. I originally wanted to buy SureFoot boot warmers, but those are like 400-500 bucks. Hotronics work just as well and are less than 1/2 the price!
Also, wear a helmet. If you don't, you annoy me. Well, not really annoy, but I don't get how you could go without one!

Power Outage
Today was kind of interesting! The power went out at work around 9:30 am and didn't come back on until 11:30. We couldn't get hardly any work done. I hate that feeling! Got off work an hour later than I was supposed to, so we didn't ride this afternoon. Boo. Tonight should be fun though, we're going to go play poker at some co-workers house. Paul & Alyssa. I'm excited to win my money back that I lost on Saturday night. HA! I hope I win anyway.
Anyone been watching the olympics? We've been watching it a couple of times a day. We've been watching Weeds a lot too. It's such a crazy show, absolutely crazy.
I might have some family out for a visit next month! Maybe! That could be exciting. Adam will be going on another SFC trip, this time to the west coast. He's very lucky to be able to go to all of those places.... while I stay home. BOO. That's okay, I'm happy he can do that. I am so so so happy to be able to let him go do those things.
I can't think of anything else to say.

POW DAY
Too much powder, seriously! Our filming plans went out the window when we took our first run and there was WAY too much powder! Went up T-Bar to go to imperial, but found out it was closed... so we went down Pika Bowl instead. I gotta stop being so stupid and actually ride my powder board when we have fresh snow! I am totally terrible at riding this deep of powder on my centered stance park board! Fun none-the-less!!!!!
Almost the weekend!!!
I'm pretty excited Saturday is almost here. I don't have to work this weekend unless I want to work Saturday... I haven't decided yet! I'm really looking forward to riding Breck again. We went to Keystone twice this week, it was not that fun.
Currently Adam is making 16 hye rollers for SFC tonight. Yummy. Hopefully the vegetarian ones are disgusting, I know there are a couple of vegetarians there. We're also going to have a couple of veggie trays and some cookies/pie/donuts (day-old-gunna-go-bad stuff).
Nothing too exciting going on..... Nothing at all actually...

I've got a new coat, with a Terradactyl on it... I named the Terradactyl, of course, Terry. I love it! Adam bought it for me at Mall of America! It's a great coat. 
Anyway, we went to Breck yesterday... I had such a good day! I did a trick on 2 rails/boxes I've never really done before. I was so so so excited about it! Today we went to Keystone and I was just freaking myself out on just about everything. I cased the 1st jump in the big line. It was pretty much downhill after that, funny... i guess literally too. So we left around 2:30 pm... I didn't feel like riding very much after that. If you know me, you know how much I don't really like Breck, but I'm fine with saying I enjoy Breck way more than Keystone right now. Keystone needs to pull it together!!! Make some changes!!!!!! Redeem yourself!!!!
We'll be going to Breck again next time we plan to ride. Or maybe Loveland... both are really fun.

Adam is home!!!!!!
Yes! Adam came home last night around 9pm. I picked him up from the Stock's, it was SO great to see him!!!!!! I went downstairs @ SFC to say hello to Jess, it was like a big reunion down there! Ha! Everyone was very happy.... and LOUD. The Hein's just left, Boo. Hope their flight doesn't get delayed at all... apparently it's snowing in MN.

My very second blog!!!!
Went to breck today with the Hein's. We got there around 9:40 am. Headed straight to chair 6, then imperial after that. I was hoping they'd like to go down Lake Chutes.... and they did! We hiked up to the top, (only about 15 minutes of hiking) and made our way to lake chutes. It had been snowing all day yesterday, so there was a LOT of snow, a LOT of big moguls. It was fun anyway. Amy fell as we were making our way down to chair 6.... she actually fell really hard on rocks! She scraped her elbow & hip up pretty good. Nathan unstrapped his board and chucked it in the snow, but the dang thing took off!!! I was the only one strapped in still so I rode after it. Finally caught up to it pretty far down the mountain! It all happened so fast, I didn't get to see how Amy was doing before I took off after Nathan's board! Thankfully they started walking down the mountain and I saw she was okay. Yikes! Poor Amy!!!!! We rode till 2:30, then we went out to eat my favorite restaurant "Downstairs at Eric's"
Adam is in Colorado now! He won't be here till later tonight, but still, he's in his home state. Can't wait to see his face. I know Daisy is excited too. Jess is coming home tonight too. Exciting.

My very first blog!!!!!!!
Well hello everyone!!!! I have a blog, I can't believe it! I've owned this domain name since before Adam and I got married. I got the idea from my friends Nathan & Amy Hein... they have a blog where they can discuss their lives and, you know, blog. So I had NO idea how to run it or anything, at all. Bless Nathan's heart, he helped me set it up 100%!!! For anyone thinking about getting a domain, make sure you have someone to help you, for sure! I was spending money for 3+ years and never used it once. I'm so excited.
So, I'm not going to try to catch up on the last 3 years of our lives, but I will update you to this past month...
- Adam has been snowboarding across the country with SFC (sfccolorado.com). He's had a TON of fun. Comes home tomorrow though, I can't wait!!! He's been gone since January 20th.
- I made a wonderful new friend, Jess Wang. I knew her last year, just BARELY. I can't believe we never hung out last year, it really sucks. She's going back home in a few months. I'm going to miss her terribly.
- Daisy has been going outside by herself. She stays out really long sometimes though, but she's usually always around in the back somewhere.
- Adam's sister (Emily) is engaged!!! She's getting married June 25th, 2010. I can't wait! They're moving out here in August sometime. YES!!!
- Nathan & Amy are out here visiting for a long weekend! We rode Loveland yesterday, Beaver Creek today and tomorrow we're going to Breck.
I think that is all I have for now? I obviously will update more as things come to me. I am just SO excited to finally be using this website. Look for more fun in the feature!!!
